Banking System:

You may have noticed the thread started this past weekend about the bank being installed this week. It's in, fully functional, out of its "beta stage" (for lack of a better description.)

Here's a little users guide to how it works, where things can be found, and other small tidbits.

Currency and balance:

The currency earned, spent, or wagered here is called BamaBucks.

Earning BamaBucks:

Money is accrued based on participation based on the following actions:

• New Threads
• Replies within threads.
• Attached photos, or any other information.
• Clicking "like" on a post from a fellow member.
• **Correct choices in our contests

The amounts paid out vary depending on the forum you're participating. In other words, since the football forum is the most frequented and participated on, it won't pay out the same amount as the Baseball/Softball forum.

** The Sportsbook is currently being built. It will be live within the next few days. Correct choices will be paid based on odds for games or events selected.

Balances:

You can see what your balance is in several areas. Here are two examples:

Transactions and transaction history.

You can view your transactions and transaction history by clicking on the balance amount in your public member card displayed in the sidebar. (Example #1 above, or here

*** The account option isn't implemented yet. It's still in development. Currently, there is not an anticipated release date.

Two things: 1) Be careful of what you don't know. 2) I have figured that out. :naughtydevil:

One thing of note: When we change things here it's always for the better. Much like the new platform the site is running on, the new betting system is better.

I'm 95% I'm going to use "bookies" this season. That means you'll pay a vig, and it means the bookies will be paid as well...
