When's the last time a superstar QB took a team all the way. Trevor Lawrence, his freshman year? Couldn't do it his sophomore or Junior year.

There is something about a team that is less competitive as TEAM (Both sides of the ball) when they have a superstar QB. And they get beat because he can't do it all. I am very comfortable where we are right now starting a first time starting QB. Usually good things happen because the team prepares more like a team during the entire offseason & through camp.

He wasn't considered a superstar QB until after his 2019 season. And he couldn't even usurp Justin Feilds at Ohio State thus he transferred to LSU.
