🏈 Bama's Rep in the NFL...Apparently

Today, I was watching a little bit of the Bears/Bucs game (just wanted to see Eddie Jackson play some). The color analyst Mark Schelreth said that at Alabama, players are guaranteed a national championship and a surgery. It was a cheap comment, but I wonder how many NFL big wigs really feel that way. It's pretty clear Tomlin doesn't care for Bama players.

I agree. Remember, while in training camp, Ryan Anderson said that Bama practices were tougher than the Redskins'.

I agree. I don't know about you, but I know that quite a few million in the Bama nation, including me, were getting pissed and gnashing teeth during the first hour+ of the draft last year. It's just perception.

I wasn't, couldnt care less but NFL scouts, teams and GMs obviously dont feel that way considering all of the Bama players that get drafted every single year.

Elway refuses to draft Bama guys. Obviously Mark S. has clear ties to the Bronco organization but this has been reported from multiple media dudes in Denver, and there is a track record of not drafting them.

I can absolutely see why GM's would have their concerns about certain Bama players... But lots of players come out banged up from other programs too. Case be case situation IMO
