I appreciate the gesture...and that said I believe it'll be hard for any decal or tribute to stand above the softball teams' helmets last season.

I imagine that the field crew comes up with a tribute as well much like they did following the 2011 tornado. I could see a large 15 and the initials MM opposite of the SEC logo.

Moore was not in the 'those we lost this year' montage at the ESPYS. I was kinda bummed about that. I know they can't fit everyone who passed, but I feel like he was such an important figure ..

I'm not one to say "don't you dare change the uniforms" or "if it ain't broke don't fix it," But I'm personally glad we're not wearing white helmet even for one game and not even for Mal Moore. We wore Crimson helmets more often then white when Mal played nor did he make any push that I know of to put Bama in white helmets when he was AD, so I'm not getting the connection with Mal Moore and white helmets. I hate white helmets; nothing says peewee league football like white helmets. I would be ok with crimson pants for a couple road games a year or how about some 1933 throwbacks instead for fun. I haven't ever posted these here so I'll show you how good crimson pants look; I photochop'd these a few years back just to see how it looks, and I was shocked how good it looked

I doubt it would ever happen, I just think it would be neat to do a for the combat uniforms, since they are going to do something with them anyway. A white helmet with crimson numerals throwback uniform, to me, would be much neater than some crap trimmed or shaded in houndstooth again. The real, real oldschool stuff like you have pictured would be cool as well.

I like the crimson pants but those throwback 30's uniforms are atrocious, leave those in the past where they belong. I really liked the pro combat unis, wouldnt mind us pulling those out once a year.

Good god my eyes. That 1933 throwback is atrocious. Might as well leave the football pads off and play soccer.

I like the other one. Those would be nice for maybe one game. Ohio State had one back in 2010 against Michigan that looked cool, I'll post it below. I'd like for us to do one like that maybe against the 'Barn or the bUTtchuggers.

Obviously fix up the color to Crimson, but that kind of style looks nice. I think it would be perfect for the helmets to have the Alabama A with the circle around it.

MM helmet stickers are appropriate, but I don't think the team that he played on ran the wishbone...although I do love to watch the wishbone and we could scare the hell out of people by using it occasionally
