I agree, Randy. GMac played a heck of a game. There's no way he should be blamed for this loss.

LSU Offense stinks. There defense is pretty good. We lost this game on Defense. We lost this game on blown pass coverage on 2 plays. I resulted in a TD and the other resulted in a 1st down that allowed LSU to run the clock out on there last possession. The other let down on defense was the long run that resulted in a touchdown. 21 points was enough against LSU.

Just a furthur indication of the problems on the defensive side of the ball. I saw way too many long yardage gains against our defense and it was ugly to watch. Not to mention, we gave up over 200 yards on the ground at a 5 ypc clip; On our side, we only got 3 ypc. Add to that the turnovers and the fact that was a road game in death valley...recipe for a loss.

Although I hate to see another loss, I'm almost relieved that the pressure of championships is gone - as said before, it's a one game season now. Gotta figure out a way to beat the BARN!

Really no one to BLAME L.S.U. just wanted it more than BAMA hard fought both sides
just dang right fustrating when you see this team as opposed to last years
for instance the tenn. game we wanted it and we took it.

Bama's defense looked very ordinary for much of the game. That, and some critical breakdowns on offense (including McElroy getting hammered by an unblocked defender) cost us the game. Why can't the o-line block better than that? They struggled blocking on running plays and passing plays.

61% completions percentage with a pick and a fumble is OK, I wouldn't say a heck of a game. I don't mean to hate, but 220 yards on 34 attempts isn't stellar. Just my opinion though. Take off that last pass play and he's under 200 yards. The fumble and the pick really hurt us, too.
