🏈 Bama vs FIU game thread

Kareem Jackson continues to defy all conventional wisdom when it comes to playing DB. I cannot recall a time in his career where I have actually seen him look back and make a play on a ball.

Got to take the good with the bad, ya know?

McElroy having a hell of a game. Heck, in one game McCoy has a third of his receptions all last year.

UT lost.

ND lost.

I watched a lot of the second half of Mee-chi-gan vs Notre Dame and UCLA vs Tennessee. Both of those were tight games that went down to the wire. And the right team won in both instances.

Maybe I'm being too hard on him, and I might have missed a couple of plays, but on the sideline routes I've seen tonight it's been Jackson with his head locked on to the receiver as the ball is caught.

Having said that, I don't think that Kareem is the worst DB of all-time or anything like that. I just expect more from him is all.

That's reasonable.

There's a reason we are recruiting DB's so heavily.

But, in answer to your earlier question, yes I have seen him look back at the ball a few times tonight. But, got beat due to height and a good QB for FIU.

There's Tiffin's miss for the night...

It's good to hear the band play Tusk. I don't know why they haven't been doing that for years.
