Heard Gary Stokan-President, Atlanta Sports Council say on 680 The Fan this morning that they were working with USC for 2013 or 2014. Seems to me that if Bama was the opponent, then 2013 would be the best bet. Bama plays GT at home in 2013 and at GT in 2014, so I don't think 2014 would be an option. Perhaps this is why Bama did not get the 2012 game announced yesterday.

The Vols vs NC State was announced the last week of May if I recall the date correctly.

The Vols vs NC State was announced the last week of May if I recall the date correctly.

I must have been asleep! Yesterday was the first I had heard of the match up.

However, I had forgotten about the Tulane game, so Bama would not have been a prospect for the 2012 game anyway. Don't think you will see Bama there in any year in which they have an away OOC game.
