I'm frustrated with how we are closing games, but I love what Coach Grant is doing. I have no doubts he'll get this thing going the way he wants it. As Coach Saban would say, this is all part of the process.

Its like we were a totally different team in the second half. No energy, very tentative. Everyone knew that Ole Miss would mount a comeback. We had no response when they did. I know our bench is short right now, but we stayed zone most of the first half, so fatigue shouldn't have been an issue. I was disappointed that we had no fight in us in the second half of that game.

I am dreading Tuesday night in Lexington.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Alabama wins Tuesday night in Lexington. I've got no justification to believe we will, it's just the nature of college basketball, and how you can let a team slip up on you when you play down to them. UK is capable of this, as evidenced by some of their games this year. All that being said, UK is as good as anyone in America right now, so they should THRASH Bama to the tune of 20-30 points. We better hope for a hot scoring night to make it respectable.

I think Cousins is better than Wall tbh, but Wall gets more hype. Cousins is a stud. Too bad he's also a gigantic dbag.

IMO, this is the kind of player that Calipari gets. He doesn't care anything about anything expect winning. UK might pay for that one day, but they want to win. So, they let it go. Wall, Cousins, and Bledsoe, along with several seniors are gone this year.

Yeah, we were a day late and a dollar short on Bledsoe. Still hard to imagine him at Bama. Wonder who else recruited him. I think he goes, but the funny thing is, I could almost see Wall come back before Bledsoe! Sounds nuts, but I've watched this season as Wall has gone from one-man-show, to supporting cast, to near doghouse, to back to the top. His coaches and a good NBA talent evaluator might suggest him come out in 1 year after he's been THE GUY at UK for one more season.

You think Bledsoe goes? I figured he'd come back and be the man for a year and then go, jmo. It sucks that Grant didn't get hired sooner so he could get on Bledsoe sooner.

Not sure we were ever in the mix for Bledsoe after his junior year. I know we backed off when it looked impossible for him to get admitted at Alabama. Kentucky wasn't in on him either until Calipari showed up there. I think Bledsoe stays around another year.

With these 'one and done' types Kentucky is setting up a future problem with the academic progress rule, which could cause them to lose scholarships. IMO however before this becomes an issue tne NCAA will be after Kentucky for other Calipari issues and he will have once again fled the scene.
