🏈 Bama Spring Drills schedule

There's a handful in the Bham metro area, including Chelsea, been there for several years. There's even one in Clanton. My Texas buddies in Atlanta crave the stuff.

Which is crazy because they just aren't very good. Man I have tried them three or 4 times. Even had one on the long road back from my hunting camp. Was the last place I passed on the way down and the first place on the way out and if I could help it I would always wait the extra few minutes to go anywhere else but there.

I am not picky about food but I am not a fan of Milo's or Whataburger but I hear that people love and crave it.. is just strange to me.

I've never been a fan of Milos, and folks rave about their sweet tea. I was never impressed with that even. Whataburger is decent, but no different than Wnedy's or Burger King to me. My wife was born in Texas and her momma born and raised in Oklahoma, so living in Georgia the last fifteen years most likely kicks up a "I miss home" craving. Hell, my wife got an order to go from Panama City when we saw one and brought it all the way back to Atlanta so her momma could have some. her momma does the same at Taco Bueno when she comes home and brings my wife a combo from halfway across the country.

@planomateo , ever had Braums? Not sure if those are only in Oklahoma or not. Man, I'd be fifty pounds heavier with one of those around.

They add all sorts of stuff to the burgers, and I think it's a breakfast burrito of some sort they love.

One of the biggest things I have always seen that people gush over at Whataburger is their honey butter chicken biscuit. I ha e never been there at breakfast time, so just got their burgers which are basically on par with Milos.

The original Milo's on north side of B'ham, maybe 10'th or 12'th av, were excellent and priced right. But after they began selling franchises and the original store closed, their quality is not nearly as good and have become a little pricey.
