Alabama LB signee doing fine after shoulder surgery
Demouy Kennedy, the No. 1 recruit in the state of Alabama in 2020, had surgery to repair a torn labrum last month.
Alabama linebacker signee Demouy Kennedy played through injury most of his senior year at Theodore, just outside Mobile.
Bobcatsā coach Eric Collier said earlier this week the stateās top 2020 recruit had surgery last month to repair a torn labrum and his recovery is āgoing fine.ā
He is rehabbing now,ā Collier told AL.com. āIām not sure of the exact timetable, but Iām hoping he can get back before (Alabamaās) spring training.ā
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Kennedy signed with Alabama in December and is already enrolled in Tuscaloosa. He did not attend Wednesdayās Alabama Sports Writers Association Players of the Year banquet in Montgomery, where he was honored as the Class 7A Lineman of the Year.
