šŸˆ Bama should come out in the Wildcat this week

Something tells me Jalen wont be available until SECCG and maybe not until the playoffs.
I have said this since the day I saw the photo in the hospital and heard about the surgery. I posted that he wont be back till the playoffs and the mods changed the title to " it to he will be back at practice next week." That surgery is 6/8 weeks rehab.
Really? You're hunting and pecking around the original story here but you're not finding many kernels of truth.

You quoted an article which said the direct opposite of what your title said.

Jalen Hurts sprained ankle at Tennessee, had minor surgery

It turns out Alabama didn't leave Tennessee without an injury.

Nick Saban, speaking in Birmingham on Monday, revealed Jalen Hurts had "a bit of a high ankle sprain" in Knoxville.

"They did a minor procedure to try to help the healing," Saban said. ""I think he will be out for one week, probably this bye week and he will probably be ready to start working again next week."

The injury occurred on Hurts 21-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter. He stayed in the game before eventually being replaced by Mac Jones in the fourth quarter.

Saban said other players have had similar injuries and recovered "fairly quickly."

from what im hearing he may not be back for LSU.....:(

So what happened here? He returned to practice the following week and starting working again.

Dude.....MY title was "Jalen has surgery and may not be ready till playoffs." The Mods changed my post! Go and read the whole thread. I even posted a video from Alabama orthopedic clinic that said 6/8 weeks before he can run and cut. The quote was from Saban but I completely disagreed with that and said there is no way he will be ready. Go back and read the whole thread. You will see that I called it and said there is no way he will be ready till maybe auburn or playoffs.

Bro,

I changed your title. I changed it because of what you wrote, ""Jalen Hurts ankle surgery and out possibly till playoffs!!" The article which you cited didn't say that. It didn't hint at such. It said, "will start working again next week" and that's what the title reflected after the edit--an accurate representation of what you'd linked.

If the editing of the thread title bothered you? That's something that happens every day here in many different forms.

What is the non-surgical recovery timetable for a high ankle sprain?
Non-surgical treatments vary. The AOFAS lists the normal recovery time as many as 12 weeks if there's bone separation between the tibia and the fibula. Cam, when he had a very similar procedure, was out for a little over a week.

It's very elementary to say but it's so true-- ... playing through pain.

But just because "He started working" doesn't mean that he will not be ready till the playoffs. I can understand to change the thread if it is offensive or just a farfetched rant, but this was his opinion and it should have been left alone.

Then you should be able to understand why a title that wasn't true was changed.
His original title was "Jalen has surgery and may not be ready till playoffs" what was wrong with that? Nothing wrong with it. It says he will start working this week, nothing about returning to game form this week. Correct title. So his interpretation of the article is wrong? I think not. The article stated he would start working... So much for opinion on here as well, shouldn't that be what a discussion forum is about?

This would have topped off the Saban PC if a junior reporter had basically just presented the OPs statement to CNS. I would pay money to witness that reaction/rant from Coach
After watching the Press Conference I think we come out with all starters running the no huddle offense and try to put 70 on them.

I think we'll have to try harder to not put 70 on them.

His original title was "Jalen has surgery and may not be ready till playoffs" what was wrong with that?
1) Because there was no basis for such a statement. There still isn't.
Correct title.
2) No. It wasn't. There was nothing said in the article, or from UA, that insinuated such. In fact, the article said something completely different than what he posted.
So his interpretation of the article is wrong? I think not
3) He's going to start working vs he may be out for the playoffs. One is a quote, the other an assumption. They aren't related or comparable.
So much for opinion on here as well
4) Ironic. You're being allowed to voice an opinion as we speak. You're the only one up in arms about all of this. Many other sites and the article would have been deleted under misleading title or teaser title.

Here is the deal...

As long as Tua is healthy, you won't see Jalen the rest of the year as Mac will have mop up duties (Citadel, aU and UGa). If Tua is hurt and it's still a tight game, you'll see Jalen in the game vs aU or UGa... if the game is in hand, you'd see Mac.

Baring any further injuries in the next 3 games or practice, Jalen and Tua will be both healthy for the playoffs
