All I can say is....that Offense is SICK. Julio showed the hell out. I'm loving the different ways we got him the ball. Greg was accurate and so was AJ (the future is bright with that one). Richardson was as good as ever and he woulda rolled up 200 yards no doubt in my mind if they had put him back in in the 2nd half. Coach Saban pretty much called Lacy out at halftime and boy did he answer. He was as good as advertised. How scary is that we rolled up nearly 600 yards (San Jose or not) WITHOUT the reigning Heisman Trophy winner. Yikes. Defensively we started a little rusty but they settled in. One thing I want to see more of is a pass rush. Those front 3 or 4 have got to get more pressure. I know we were real vanilla in terms of blitzes tonight but still gotta get more pressure. The only sack came on a safety blitz. Mandell was great punting the ball except the one at the end off the side of his foot and Foster played very well kicking field goals and on kickoffs. I'm not as worried about special teams now. They damn sure did not want to kick it to Julio.
