am I the only one that's getting tired of players being allowed to literally jump on top of the pile that's attempting to tackle Richardson especially when the sec refs are uber quick on calling a play " dead " after a possible fumble?

Amen. Three bad things happened:

1)missed FG
2)Ole Miss returned the ball past the 30 yard line
3)Foster got hurt

If the FG is more than about 40 yards, go for it or punt. Forget the FG.

I don't know if there is any truth to it, but I have heard on multiple occasions that Cade Foster absolutely kills the ball in practice, but hasn't been able to replicate that success in games
