Was really impressed with R. Kelly words as he addressed the crowd. Obviously a smart, first class kid who I think will have a successful NFL career. Trying to replace #70 might be the most crucial/difficult task if we are going to get back to playoffs.

And then there's that little thing about not having cable TV ... just sayin, Rickey.
Even if I still had cable or Sat, I still wouldn't get to see it unless it was on one of the ESPN channels. Because of something that happen back in the '50 the FCC decided that Randolph County and Cleburne County would be in the Atlanta, Ga market. We still fighting this too. I get more from you guys that all the sport people out there total together. Yes, I miss watching cable but, the way the price of it kept going up, I had to let something to go. :D

I was thinking about something along these lines the other day.

You'll have to pardon the casual use of the word 'mensa' here but in a sense it fits. Kelly, who is graduating with two degrees from UA, was selected as the 2015 SEC Football Scholar-Athlete of the year. I could, but won't, get into the list of athletic awards.

The thing is, he's not that different from Barrett Jones; both academically and how versatile he was on the offensive line. While he didn't have to shift positions like Barrett, he certainly could have if need arose.

**And on that note, or these notes, these traits/attributes both Jones and Kelly have...it's one of the reasons I keep saying don't sleep on Lester Cotton.

Are you trying to tell us, that we will never even be seeing the old lineman of old. You know the dumb type that had to have help to read a "Dick and Jane Book"?
