Granted it was Ms State and it wasn't pretty to watch, but an away victory isn't easy for most teams not named Kentucky. We led by 12 at half and State came out with 8-0 run to start 2nd half. However, unlike most of our 2nd half collapses, we weathered the storm and got a W. Perfect night for a road win as MSU students still out and crowd was 'sparse'.

If I'm not mistaken, I heard one of the guys on SEC Now that the home team had only won one game in conference play (when referring to Florida.) I'm guessing this was before the Kentucky game was over.

The Tide played pretty well last night to be on the road in conference play. Good start to the SEC season. CAJ has a nucleus of players but stills needs the recent recruiting class to get on campus to make the jump to big boy basketball on a consistent basis. This is a good start.
