TAMU S Floyd Raven will be out due to collarbone injury from Sam Houston State (the team that lost in FCS championship game last two years) He played CB last year and is a thumper, has a ton of range and is really good in run support. He will be missed.

Also, DE Julien Obioha is questionable from what I've read.

Not quite. Deshazor Everett was with Floyd Raven in the bar fight prior to the start of the season, Everett and Raven both had a 1/2 game suspension during the first game, Rice.

Deshazor Everett came in during the 2nd half of the Rice game and was ejected for targeting Rice WR Kubiak (Houston Texans Gary Kubiak's son), served the remainder of the suspension during the first half of the Sam Houston State game.
