What I want to know is why is the SEC's not released ( at least I haven't seen anything but speculation but nothing official)? I still think the ACC had the best plan for this weird 2020 season. 10 + 1. The non-conference game could have been against ACC or Big12 teams. Or at least, a good group of 5 team. I just hope we take care of business this year! ROLL TIDE ROLL !!!

The ACC and Big10 are starting 2-3 weeks before the SEC. There's no rush.

As far as the B10I think it has something to do with having all the games played before it gets infernally cold. No clue about the ACC.
In both cases their start and finish dates (CG) are the same as they would have been if there were no C-19 pandemic. The last week of the regular season is what jumps out to me about the B1G: it's a makeup date just in case.

Did you catch the conference championship games are anywhere from Dec. 5, 12 and 19th? The powers that be always said they needed that break between the championship games and bowl games because of students taking final exams. Bottom line, if the money is right, academics really aren't that important. LOL

Suspect most universities will be done with school after Thanksgiving...haven't bothered to look. Know several have pushed the start of school up a few weeks to prevent having kids back after Thanksgiving as a prevention.

Have the bowl game dates been announced?
