Yeah, caught that. American football vs Australian football, ya know? Heck, pretty clear the reporter is thinking Jessie came to the states for the $$ as often as he references dollar amounts NFL players not to mention Coach.
 
Take away points from this piece for those is Brisbane:
1) A promising Aussie-Rules footballer is forsakeing the home team for American Football.
2) He's actually doing very well as he takes a shot at the big leagues.
3) When we say big leagues we mean Millions of Dollars a year big leagues, so forget about having him come home to play for the local team.
4) Those Americans sure do talk funny.
