He may get a cut. I don't know. His official title is "Editor in Chief" so you know he's getting paid. If I'm not mistaken, they've received right at 30 million in seed monies to date (as I recall, the site launched in early 2016.)

I've been tempted as well. No pop-ups. No ads. And no auto-play videos.

Along with Mandel they've got Richard Deitsch, Jon Greenberg, Seth Davis, Ken Rosenthal, Peter Gammons, Jason Stark...some heavy weight there.

if so, he needs to be told what it means to actually be a winner.

to not care about a bunch of 10-win seasons back-to-back and to just want to win something big every now and then is a defeatist mentality. it means you've already lost before the game is even played.

hey jay, you know why ALABAMA has so many back-to-back 10-win seasons? because we actually care about winning. and not just something big every now and then. we care about it ALL THE DAMN TIME! and when you realize that...when you finally let it sink in that winning is an all the time thing...then, maybe, you can consistently have a winning program; not just every now and then with some big wins thrown in here and there.
