To me '41 is no different than UCF claiming '17

Except that UCF didn't beat a team in their Bowl game that had lost but two games in THREE years. Which is why Houlgate awarded his '41 NC to Bama. But Alabama should have never recognized the award.

FWIW, Alabama beat 6 teams that year that had a winning record. Hell, Minnesota didn't play but 3. BYU's NC is less lame than that. BYU beat 4 teams with a winning record. Tulsa (6-5) , Hawaii (7-4), Air Force (8-4), and Utah (6-5-1). LMAO!

What are lawyers? For the first part Alex and for the second part. What are postal workers?

Lawyers are scumbags too, but getting through law school is a very mentally challenging thing.

Post office workers/DMV employee types can be annoying, but they are relatively harmless in the grand scheme of things.

Journalists are just mediocre for the most part. You get paid to write neatly and shape public opinion. I do respect the ones that actually conduct investigative journalism and do their best to tell the truth, but that is a rare breed in this day and age. Most journalists are completely culturally isolated from the area that surrounds them. You can't tell me that the Birmingham News actually voices the opinions of most Alabama citizens. In fact I would argue that most of the people who work for the Birmingham News probably view the state of Alabama as an evil entity that should be completely culturally re-engineered.

In a crap grouping.... people drawing a salary regardless...
Its people that have control....through their job...but those have just crap individuals...rather than groupings...

and some of those are ...as you put it...just annoying...
Give people power..control...and they abuse it... ( especially control freaks)..

that said....lawyers...real estate people..funeral home directors...ones that use you for financial gains..tell u anything....and willing to screw you over for a few bucks...
And there are good peoplein all those jobs too...so not all..but....
