Just heard Sark turned down an interview with Auburn and is staying at Bama. Apparently his contract is being reconstructed

Kiffin’s buyout at Ole Piss is around $5 million. I honestly believe his facilities right now are better than what the Barn has. Barn made promises of a “football only facility” a couple of years back but haven’t even begun to break ground. We mentioned before about Freeze even having better facilities at Liberty than what the Barn has. Barn must be in the lower tier for facilities when it comes to the SEC schools.

He and Tony Elliot bowed out. Sark was a non-starter because of the full control demand. Venables interviewed, but didn't get any traction.

I'll join you on this island. auburn is the better job, even though it comes with some toxic strings attached. But if a coach wants to win a championship, auburn is the better job compared to Ole Miss. On the flip side, if a coach wants a more stable situation, less money, and less pressure, Oxford is their place.

Yeah, it seats what? 35K? I think you're right though. This could be a big step up for him. I didn't know Vandy's new coach is an alum; I was thinking that Vandy should have gone after Clark with everything they had. If he can make lemonade from the lemons at uab, he could do soemthing in the SEC.

How do you come to that conclusion? Better facilities, often better HS talent, more control over your own program than you would ever have at the Barn. Now, should the Barn be a better job? Yes, it should, but for the points I just listed, shows Ole Piss is the better job.

As I stated early hope their coaching search has many embarrassing twists and turns than UT and in the end they end up with flop. Hope the blind squirrel does not find a nut but you do have that crazy voodoo luck that happens on the loveliest cow pasture on the plains.
