Before my time, but he was the first Barner receiver to attain the 1,000+ yard reception yardage total in a season. Almost 30 years later before they had a guy eclipse that mark again. Hasn’t been done since ‘99, I believe.

Gotta admit, as a kid, him and Pat Sullivan were enemy #1. Both were upstanding individuals, sad day indeed.

Sad for his families loss for sure but I had to do a double take with the thread title when Auburn and Great were used in the same sentence.
