I've been watching the video's of Coach Saban and the players all year long. And all year long we hear the same things over and over from the players. "The next game is the biggest game.", "We just need to play good football.", "I just need to do my best to help the team win.", etc.
Coach Saban beats the media back weekly and at times seems down right irritated at the circus that is sports journalism. And who could blame him with the way these sharks attack just looking for any weakness they can exploit on their blogs. Yesterday I was watching Javy's interview and I heard Ray Melick asking him to comment on Ben Tate, and if his comments give him any motivation. He was digging hard for some drama. Javy waved it off perfectly. These guys, all of them, sound identical. They sound like Coach. You want proof that attitude reflects leadership? Look no further than the University of Alabama football team. These are outstanding times to be an Alabama fan! ROLL TIDE! :a:
