Hey gang, with the T&G Forum gone I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured everyone would see it here. Just a couple of things.

1. Draft Day is approaching quickly. Offer your input now so I can make any needed changes. The DRAFT is set for March 30th @ 7:30ET.

That's a Wednesday night. If this is bad for people, let me know ASAP.

2. Keeper Deadline is set for March 25th. This should give everyone a few days to plan their drafts, and hopefully minimize any drafting of players that end up hurt to begin the season.

3. MLB play begins on March 31st, but because of our league settings we won't begin the scoring system until that Monday April 4th.

4. Remember you can carry over your minor leaguer if he meets the requirements. After checking with sp-line and looking at the settings, we cannot open up the waiver wire prior to the draft. You must have lineups set and a complete draft done in order to begin waivers. That means owners without a minor leaguer can pick one up off of waivers after the draft.

I am debating opening the waiver wire prior to the draft for those managers that don't have a minor leaguer, but I need to get some clarification back from sportsline first. I might just leave it closed until after the draft just so that it doesn't mess anything up. Not sure yet, but will let everyone know as soon as I hear something from sp-line.

What if Iaidid be interested in joining if someone taught me h to play fantasy baseball.

Sorry 92, I should have been more specific in my post. The league is an established league that some of the guys here play in every year.

Having said that...... we could use a free league for people here to play in, if you are interested in setting one up? We've done that most years in the past, but this year no one has offered to start one for the site.

joeman546, if we can get a free league set up we can certainly get you in on that. I'm sure some of the guys here that play will be more than happy to offer their opinions and advice to you and help get you squared away on playing fantasy baseball. It's a lot of fun.

What Porter said, Bo. Four players, any 4.

Then you can carry over your minor leaguer if (1) you never activated him, or (2) he meets the requirements. You can check the requirements on the site, under DETAILS. I beleive it's 10 relief appearances, 30 ABs and...5 starts? Something like that. Just go take a look. Again, if you held on to your minor leaguer and never activated him last season, it's a moot point.

I don't think I ever activated Kimbrel. If I did, I probably will have to drop him cause I'm pretty sure he had over 10 relief appearances.
