There are some guys around this place (TerryP and Porter) who already know about my plans on travelling to the States on 1st of November. But other ones even neither heard about me before. I am a die-hard Crimson Tide fan from the north of Spain who was very active some time ago (posting and even blogging for the RTB community whenever I was able to do it).

I currently run the blog in Spanish language FiebreTider (http://fiebretider.wordpress.com), which was intentionally built to help to understand and cover both the Crimson & White traditions and obviously the current season.

Some friends of the state of Alabama asked me to travel ton of times (I’ve never stayed before in the States so everything’s going to be new to me), and they also invited me to attend the game most I like, which is the Bayou Bengals showdown on 9th of November, and that’s where I am heading the next month. I will also try to take the opportunity to visit places like Atlanta, Destin, New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville and many more (in a clock-wise tour since arriving at the Atlanta Airport from Frankfurt, Germany).

I already attended to my first college football game last year at Dublin (Navy and Notre Dame) but my expectations are obviously overwhelmed with this opportunity. I also booked a stadium tour to be able to visit on Monday after the game.

I feel like I have to let you know about the whole trip itself.

Thank you so much to take your time on reading. Any kind of suggestion would be much appreciated.

Roll Tide!

I insist on it Isra.

After we chatted last week I started thinking about your itinerary. While you technically aren't traveling that far when you tour the south east you're going to run into a few very distinct personality types. I'd follow you for a few days just for the laughs.

Yes, absolutely. You were exactly the one who asked me about doing it.

But the personality thing and the culture diverse is an exciting one to handle, believe me. So in order to feed your laughs and the ones of someone else, I plan to tweet a lot and take updates on @Israel_Llata (both spanish and english).

Terry, I thought you said the word state in terms of Alabama state-wise. In that case, still no clue. We are planning to camp at Holt Lake (before and after the game) and maybe visit Birmingham and its sorroundings, but it's something up to the people who is going to host me at the state of Alabama.

Isra Welcome to The Southern states of the SEC. If you come to Mobile AL We would love to set you up for a few nights at our home on Mobile Bay. Let me know if you want to . Just a little bit of Southern Hospitality.

Thank you so much for your hospitality, it's much appreciated. The fact is that I have already set each of my stays in different hotels from Atlanta to Nashville. When I first take the road after two nights of staying at Atlanta, I plan to go south to Destin and then I likely want to make a stop at the US Alabama in the way to NOLA, so maybe we can meet together and have a coffee or whatever. Just hope the Barackstar O'Bummer does not let the whole shutdown thing to stay too long.

PS: Would you like to stay in touch with me on cellphone?
