🏈 Attendance for Kent State game?

Sell out, yes.

Every seat filled? Doubt it. But, with Penn State on the road the next weekend we may see the seats filled through the end of the first half, or so...

We know that there is a 7 year waiting list for season tickets. The question is will the few general public tickets that were offered, as well as those that get returned at the last minute from the other team, go unsold for the first time since the 1980's.

I have to think that there will be some level of desire to go if for no reason other than to show support at the first game after the tornado. It would be sad if the stands were clearly not filled. With a pre-season #2 ranking there would be but one reason that they would not be filled...the tornado has us fans off our A game.

Not a dig or anything, just chiming in, but at OU we have a different problem. The student section is first come first serve seating in their respective sections, so students are lined up usually around midnight before game day and their sections are always overflowing. Its the rest of the stadium where OU has problems. LOTS of old people who really do not need to be in the stadium with all the steps. I always hear an old person scolding someone else who is loud, or tell someone to sit down. I swear every home game, OU recognizes some really old person who claims to have had season ticket since 1945 or some crazy thing like that. The student section is where its at in Norman. Loud, crazy at times, right behind the visiting bench, etc. I'm not sure how hard it will be for me to stop going to Norman on saturdays in the fall, but I just don't see me doing it if I make it to my 80's.
