At least 10 injured after gunfire erupts after LeFlore-Williamson HS football game in Mobile

At least 10 people were injured after gunfire rang out at the end of a high school football game Friday night at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, the city’s police chief said.

Mobile Police Chief Lawrence Battiste said six of the 10 injured were directly shot and that one victim had a seizure shortly after the incident at the end of the game between LeFlore High School and Williamson High School.

The victims ranged in age from 15 to 18 years old, the chief said. Their conditions were not immediately clear.

The police chief said two people were detained for questioning.

Battiste said the violence was unacceptable when most of the attendees at the game were there to enjoy themselves.

“It goes back to the idea that why are young people bringing this type of violence to public events?" Battiste said. “We’re going to have to be more aggressive on our end .... we’ve got to make sure they understand we will not tolerate juvenile violence in our neighborhood.”

What could the shooter be thinking. This could ruin the rest of your life and the ripple effect, not to mention the revenge factor, could be even worse.
May be the good lord forgive me but if one of my kids were to be injured or worse, I would
Annihilate the perpetrators entire family. I’m sorry but don’t mess with my kids, my wife or my property.
