Alabama sophomore defensive end A’Shawn Robinson sprained his knee and could miss a few practices, according to a report from Drew DeArmond of AlabamaIntel:
Robinson was notably absent from drills Wednesday morning, and immediately rumors spread that the starting DE had injured his ACL. Reports now say that he was rolled up during yesterday’s practice, which caused the sprain.
It is expected Robinson could miss a few practices and be good to go for Alabama’s opener against West Virginia.
Robinson is a preseason selection to the Bronko Nagurski and Outland Trophy watch lists.
