I realize that the big universities spend lots of money on their President, just makes me wonder when the teachers stop questioning athletics and start questioning the administration :)

Its going to be entertaining (I mean interesting) to watch how the public responds to this - I imagine some tax payers are wondering what their tax dollars are used for.

$64k on bow ties, bow tie cookies, and pins...

The university spends tens of thousands of dollars alone branding Gee around his signature bow ties. Since 2007, Ohio State has spent more than $64,000 on bow ties, bow tie cookies and O-H and bow tie pins for Gee and others to distribute, the newspaper found.

How is this legal? He may be in hot water over this from a legal standpoint.

Gee’s travel, entertainment and housing expenses are paid from endowment funds that have been donated to the university for general purposes.
ā€œNo tuition or tax dollars are used to fund the president’s travel and use of the residence,ā€ the university’s statement says.
