I think he's had a nagging back injury all season that has gotten worse.

electing to go ahead and have surgery this week instead of waiting.

The last update on JAD is he chose to hold off on the surgery and see if he can make it back for the game. He's still planning on the procedure but has chosen to wait after meeting with the teams doctors.

Great news for the overall depth of that secondary! Not sure if Moore was hurt or benched, but if he's back in the mix as well I feel much more confident in making it through both games with the depth necessary to beat 2 great teams.

Yeah this has been unusual. He had a great freshman year but this year not so much. I recall someone on here mentioned several weeks ago that he has had a nagging injury.
