Kiffin won't happen. Sark is only marginally possible, I think he still has rehab to do.

Venables at Clemson is a definite maybe but he already makes something north of $2 million a year and I think he is smart enough to know that is a bad rebuild that needs to happen.

Ensminger at LSU could definitely be in play. Only makes around $800K right now after an extension in July that gave him no raise. He's 61 and could want to make that last little but of money for security.

They have to find a guy that can do more with less to take that gig. Recruiting for the Hogs is a tuff battle. Gary Patterson at TCU or maybe the guy at Iowa State might be a good call. They need a meat and potato guy at that school.

Not a single one of those coaches will even consider the ARK Job. It is a terrible job. Look Chad Morris was supposed to be able to recruit Texas which is the Hogs only chance to be relevant in talent and he filled up his Huggies fast.

aTm joining the conference was the worst case scenario for ARK. All the Texas recruits that want to play SEC ball have an option to do that and not leave the state anymore.

ARK is in a division that they are battleing Bama, the Barn, LSU, and aTm. Ole Miss and MSU are better options at this time for recruits.

They are basically recruiting the same talent pool vs these teams and then add regionally OU, Texas, Baylor, TCU, SMU, and Memphis.

Ark is a last place division team with no hope of moving up in the foreseeable future. Of the 12 schools I listed all can say they have a legit shot at a bowl every year. Ark will not go to a bowl in the next four years. Of those 12 all can say they have a shot at New years six bowl or being in the conversation. Eight of these team can claim to be viable contenders to go to the CFP if everything lines up right for them.

I think Coach Nutt would be a good hire to help stabilize the program and fire up the fan base.

Morris took over a program built to run the ball and playD... he is not of that O mine.....
It could be awhile before they succeed...but if they can lure the Memphis HC....

While it's true that was the team he tried to build in his first two years by 2015 he'd moved to an attack featuring the passing game. Morris needed quicker linemen, no doubt, but the pieces were in place for that transition. Under pressure he (CBB) tried to move to a "Petrino-esque" attack and, well, still couldn't win.

In the two years Morris has been at the helm at Arkansas he's not had a team that has had more rushing or passing yards than any of Bielema's teams.

My opinion...but this house is damn near as ugly as his two seasons in Fayetteville.

This is one of the problems with the Arkansas job - real estate. No one will go into the job thinking they'll stay forever. If you buy a $3 million house, who can buy it when you leave? The only option is someone from the Walton family but they already have mansions.
