We're trying to clean out the old homeplace where my late brother lived and hoping some flea market dealer will buy everything for one price. We've been selling from FB marketplace, and ads in the local paper for over a year now. I think we have reached the saturation point of available buyers in Lawrence County.

What's left for $500

Not included in this price is anything nailed to the walls, rugs on the floor or the table with all the Santa plates. Santa plates are included in that price. The table and rugs are for sale, just not included at that price. We're not interested in selling individual items.

It'll be hard to get even a flea market dealer to buy those Christmas items this time of year, unless you can find someone who runs a year-round Christmas booth. There's a really big flea mall in Leeds, I'll drop by there in the next week or two and see if there is a Christmas booth.

As a side note, if anyone ever needs a fire poker (several lengths available) or shovel, firewood holder (two sizes) and a good number of other wrought iron items, there's a guy who makes them and has booths in Leeds, Anniston and at least one other place. The pokers are like $8-$10 each, as are the shovels, and the firewood holders are like $30-$40. You'd pay triple or more other places, even more at a specialty store. I bought one for every buddy and relative that had a fire pit but no poker.
