When Jalen broke free for BAMA's last TD? I'm not faulting the kid in no form or fashion, but I was hoping he would slide at the half yard line. I knew we left too much time on the clock, especially after the ending of last year's game. Great game though! I guess if we had to lose, I'm glad its to a class act like Watson. ROLL TIDE FELLOWS! Next year is going to be amazing! I foresee an undefeated season and a championship appearance against Chok-al-homa. Number 17 is coming!

My wife was cheering (for me, she's a Nole) when Hurts went in. She looked at me and asked whats wrong, as I just had this stone blank face, no cheer. I told her there's too much time on the clock, they'll score.

i was screaming.....very loudly.....when he took off on that run. i was screaming because i knew he was gonna score. and i was excited for that.

but immediately after, i looked at the time left and thought, "we may have left them too much time."

and sure enough, we did.

if he gets hit/tackled and we can take off another minute or minute-thirty, then we may have come away with the "W".

nothing can be done about it now, though. it's done and over with.

Yes, I was really hoping he'd take a knee on the one yard line. I was wondering more if Coach Saban would have killed him for doing so.

Until he slid and then didn't make it in for the touchdown, after that everyone would have ran him out on a rail. As bad as it was you can't turn down the opportunity to score .
