Auburn got screwed. I don't think USC would have that championship if they would have played Auburn that year.

They did it to themselves. They shoulda played a harder schedule. **** Heads anyways omg they really made rings????

USC would have beaten AU by at least 3 TDs. USC was a machine that year and for years to come. AU was a one hit wonder.

The best thing that could have happened to them was to never get in that game. They could be 13-0 and dream about a NC, or 12-1 and saying "at least we got there".

I could see some guy trying to make a few bucks off something he knows someone will buy in these rough economic times. But how much is a "People's NC" ring worth? Absolutely not what he listed it for. If it were an actual BCS or AP NC ring that would be different. And if the player was Williams or any other Barn player from that year that has moved to the NFL. But they wouldnt need the money.

Regardless of who should have been there or who would have won it, how can you really put a price on something like that? I mean, that was a special season for Auburn and obviously everyone on the team. I can't believe someone would be willing to sell that piece of memorabilia. :shock:
