🏈 Andrew Gribble: Breaking down positions prior to spring practice

The QB battle is gonna be a fun one to watch. I'm curious to see how Del Rio does, gotta love when someone turns down full rides to walk-on at another school.

I'm pulling for Alabama, so I don't really care who wins :)

The RB, LB, DL, OL, and QB are ones I'm more curious of. QB obviously isn't for this year, but for next year. RB I'm curious to see who can come in and stake their claim.

OL and DL will be where I will focus. QB is a position I will look at next spring along with LB. I'm excited about the possibilities of Cooper Batemanclimbing the ranks quick. Morris is a kid that I believe was a late bloomer much like Greg McElroy was in that he got his chances late in his HS career.

I believe Jay Williams left to play baseball. Don't quote me but I believe that was the case. He had a strong leg but was just too inconsistent for CNS. I watched him in a practice or two and he would boom one 60 yds and then the next two would be 15-20 yd shanks!

You're spot on about Jay Williams switching to baseball.
