Just a single mention that I know of it, but ESPN was reporting that the Patriots are supposedly trying to move up in the draft to select an OT. One of two names mentioned was Andre, which is interesting when one considers that CNS once worked for the Patriot's Coach. Respect from the Pros for a Saban product. Further, it speaks volumes for Andre when the Patriots, with their recent reputation for Championships, is willing to trade up for him.

He would be a good fit, IMHO

I'll probably follow the draft today via the ESPN ticker here...and, it'll be the most I've followed the draft in years.

One thing I heard this week I thought was interesting. I didn't catch the segment, but heard it repeated on another sports talk show, but Mike and Mike were both putting out the idea that no one should listen to a thing coming out of different NFL camps this week.

Their reasoning was all of these organizations play a smoke and mirror game this time of the year.

It is very enlightening to compare the squalling and handwringing that the media types did after he left the combine/ran without a shirt, etc. with what the real football people think. Where are those clowns who were saying "bottom of the first round" or "out of the first round". Granted he did not help himself, but sanity seems to be prevailing in the draft.

Those 'media' types are not much more than glorified bloggers, over talkative alcoholics and writing school rejects.

Worse, they are all fans rather than objective reporters of cold fact.

As such, very few of them should be taken with any amount of seriousness.
