Interesting stat but I do not recall ever being a double digit dog so in reality this is saing Bama wins when they are an underdog right?

I got a jump on my dry January in December, so I'll not partake during this game, either. I did pick up some "near beer" from Total Wine. I settled on a couple from Athletic Brewing. It actually tastes decent. The Heineken 0.0, not so much. My wife and some of her girlfriends got a late start on it, but she's with it now. Amazing how cheap our dining tabs are compared with the typical two beers and two glasses of wine, or the stray old fashioned. I think I'm spending within my projected retirement budget.

Q: If your projected retirement budget and dining without beer/wine meet, is that the right retirement plan?

One of my clients gave me a bottle of Johnny, Gold Label Saturday. It's met with a McLure's - Yuengling mix at 9AM. Geez. Good Scotch and yesterday was fun.

(About a year ago we had a cookout and as we're all 'shootin' the shit' I was talking to a couple about the old bar [ex sister in law of one of the owners.] I suggested, if one had the money, to buy that "as a bar" and turn it into a base for the food trucking industry. Lo and behold...they just bought it with the intent of turning it into a base for...)

OT: I didn't realize Total Wine was this large. David Trone, US rep (D) out of Maryland. Went to Furman of all places. Love to know his stance on alcohol taxation. We were getting hit three ways til Sunday to everyone it seemed.

Man, this is going to be the longest day of the year! I have to admit that I am nervous but I’m not as nervous as I was going into the SEC championship game, I just did not see that outcome coming. I feel better about the game today but I do expect it to be a little closer, I guess we shall see.

I’m not even going to get into the beer argument because I drink corona premium because it’s only 90 cal! Lol.

Although every so often you have to bust out the good beer and just take the calorie hit. Who knows, after tonight‘s game I may break out a bottle of Caymus (that is my favorite Cabernet). And if I’m not mistaken, my stepdad left me a really nice Cuban cigar so we’re gonna have to fire that bad boy up as well

2008 SEC CG was -10 I believe and we lost by 11.

My first thought was the stains on the linoleum flooring that should have been replaced 20 years ago. Literally, there's one less than two miles from here. EVERYTHING about it sucks except for the location.

I used to hit up that Piggly Wiggly in Mt. Pleasant a good bit. It was never the cleanest looking store, but it got the job done.

The Pigs in SC were owned by a different company, and were viewed as higher end stores rather than the small town discounters we love in Bama. I think that group eventually sold to Harris Teeter.

The Pigs in SC were owned by a different company, and were viewed as higher end stores rather than the small town discounters we love in Bama. I think that group eventually sold to Harris Teeter.

This one "lasted" through the sell off because of the employee ownership contracts (from what I understand.) Their distributing locations closed...one sold off.

That reminds me of a UGA fan I knew 20+ years ago. He was a production paid guy at the PW warehouse, loading trucks. He was hitting 30 an hour back then based on how much he loaded.

No, it'll include alcohol, but I'll say I've drank significantly more over the last two years than the previous two, so some moderation is due. I've scrubbed my retirement budget pretty well, but this year will be a trial run in some areas. I would've never thought it, but my wife has gotten the motorhome bug, so that's a pretty big change I've got to noodle through. It opens up great possibilities, including away games, though.

There's a speakeasy in Marietta that has a mobile bar, an old teardrop style trailer that will go to private events, or accompany food truck events. Pretty nice setup.

My tickets from the University are on the Georgia side of the field. Still trying to comprehend that one. Everything I'm seeing and hearing over my way has a ton of Georgia folk headed up there. Dawg fans do travel well I will say.

There's one that I know of in town; West Ashley. 25 minutes, right? I'll give them them the though. It was the only place that had taps for kegs when C-19 hit and I scored three. That dollar went a long way at $40 a keg.

I've thought about an acre, fenced in, with a convenience store at the front. The back, enclosed area, has access for at least three trucks on the outside. Can you see the square, tables on the inside? You have three menus with all the drinks sold from the front. I giggle as I think about an adjoining liquor store.
