I would rather eat shit and run rabbits than watch the halftime show.
It's just crazy.

Superbowl viewers, 10 years ago, had a good segment of people who said, "I don't care about the game, but I like the halftime." And the one thing that drew the non-traditional viewers to the screen?

Someone wearing a replica jersey with "Choose Love" on the back said, "Yeah, that's a good idea! Let's change that!"

Yep.... let politics move into half time show. Pathetic
Next it will be commercials. And then unies will have political statements.
Trying to draw things to the end

Nobody can hold a grudge quite like (some of) those in media.

Do you think it's because he's still coaching, but at the college level? That would be the only logical reason...but eight Super Bowls.

I can hear the Trump tweets now.

I think some just don't like him and it's their petty way of putting the screws to him... others probably hold the cheating allegations against him like many MLB voters do with their HOF (apples and oranges in terms of the "cheating" but the media sure made a big deal out of it back then). N matter the reasoning, it's very flawed IMO.

Might be that he burn a lot of bridge after taking the coaching job at UNC. Something like I don't want any one from New England any where around here?

I ran across an article that it was Kraft supporters talking him down due to their feud, using the cheating issue to hold him back a year. Supposedly, Kraft is in the running for HOF this year as well, and he didn't relish the idea of being on the same stage with Bill after their acrimonious end.

He apparently has few friends, so enough enjoyed turning the screws on him to snub him. He's the Ty Cobb of Field of Dreams:

That makes sense with Kraft being involved. As much as those two accomplished together, it’s a shame they’ve let egos throw a wet blanket on it.

I get it! Belichek is a dick but he is also a damn good coach and proved as much!!

Have you heard of the HT singer? I haven't heard of him and I am not planning on watching or listening to him, or whatever he wants to be called.
I saw a question posed yesterday and the opinion was "why are advertisers showing their SB commercials before the game?" He was talking about the halftime commercials.

My first thought was "I haven't paid attention to those in years." Well. That's not entirely true. I've watched the more publicized bits the following week. More to the point is I can't think of a SB commercial for the life of me. Nothing sticks out over the last few years (sans Budweiser rebranding.)

But now we have another concert? It's not new...having alternative programming at halftime. Fox has been doing this for years, haven't they?

First. .....I am a football fan. ...So will watch football game.
I hate the nfl snd their "progressive " politics and use it in a major sporting event
Glad POTUS passing on going

I and many others love the commercials. ........At least they are new and fun......

I will just turn tv off for the 20 minutes at halftime.
Never heard of alternative programming til this year..Go...Shoot pool. .... Walk the dog ( mine passed this year but son has his here) ....
Go shoot some pistols....
anything but watch their "out of place" progressives bullshit
