🏈 🏈 Bama In The NFL - 2025-26 Season Updates & Highlights

New season upcoming, new thread to follow along on the Bama guys... Might as well start it off with this news...

Ramsey wanted out of Miami. Minkah has declined a little and the trade is a wash essentially. Neither side gained or lost much in this.
Ok, understand that on Ramsey. But I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around them trading minkah. In what way has he declined a little ? Because he just had one of his best years in the league, and went to another pro bowl. He's still playing at an elite level, so to just trade him away is mind boggling to me.

I've been a Steelers fan since I was a kid. The only Steelers jersey I own, however, is Fitzpatrick's jersey. I think after Tomlin had a decent spell with Bama players, Fitzpatrick was the last Bama player on the roster.

All that...Figures

I didn't see a ton of Steelers games last year, but when I did, he didn't seem fully healthy to me. Just appeared like he was playing though stuff... which is always gonna be the case late in the season... but something just didn't seem right. Have to wonder though if his physical style of play is starting to take a toll.
He was coming off a season prior where he injured his hamstring and knee I believe. So that could be what people are looking at. But like I said, he still played at high level last season. Not his best year in terms of picks, but he was all over the field making plays. He was also one of the best safeties last season playing against the run, he's always been good at it though.... so not that big of a surprise. I'm sure his play style could be starting to take it's toll on him like you said, but his play and production on the field are still pro bowl level.

Side note, I swear to God if it's one of those Pff fucks saying this, I'm going to lose my shit.rage-throw (1).gif

Oh he's plenty good still. As a fan who much refers the Dolphin to the Steelers, I'm happy with the trade.
