I think I agree with you for the most parts. I think the theme for this week for those guys: Start strong and finish strong for both sides of the ball. What I'm hoping to see this upcoming weekend to put the game out of the reach by half time so we can get young players some reps, and rest starters little earlier.

You mentioned Sellers: Have you seen his stats for this year? Woof! 25 sacks! He only has 5 TDs to 2 Ints for the year. I haven't never seen a starter's stats like that other than High school.

So My goals for Bama team to do what I want them to do to make myself feel better:

Offense- Start fast. Finish the drives. We need to see three explosive plays. Running game to go over 200 yards of rushing. I want Simpson to have 3 or more TDs.

Defense- I want to see 3 interceptions/sacks or more. I want them to live in the backfield.

Get the starters out of the game by 3rd quarter.

Sellers had been sacked 25 times coming in, but we have 1 sack through 3 quarters. Is that an indictment on us? We can’t catch the booger.

I hoped I wouldn't be right, but this is a trap game and we knew SC was going to come out with the negative press their coaching staff would be ready with some wrinkles and then their D-line gets fully healthy this week so we have to contend with that. We've also had Ty be off all day and our OC has not figured out the DC yet despite it being obvious since the 1st drive.
