After 6-1/2 games, I have to accept the offense as they are and not as I hoped they’d be. That’s only fair for even Saban can’t simply reload following all he lost from the unbelievable 2020 offense. However, the defense didn’t lose a lot so I did buy into the thought that they would be elite. I guess after 6-1/2 games it’s time to accept them as they are too … just not for the same reason. They’re not bad … they’re just not elite.

I truly believe the offense would be a lot better under Sark and with a change at RT and LG. Neither is going to happen but I can dream right?

Why don’t the backups get some snaps when the o-line is not effective (especially the right side)?

A couple of things I think we have learned the last few games of this season. This team has no leadership. Only about 30% of the players have bought into the process. The mystic of the fear of playing an Alabama football team is gone, gone, gone.

Great question. Saban is very loyal and even though Owens is clearly a liability, he's a returning senior. I remember when Marcell Darius was clearly hurt and Saban didn't make a change.

From my understanding Randolph got hurt at some point during camp and Owens moved over to RT. Dalcourt stepped in as center.
