Round 1 is tomorrow night. I may add some thoughts/notes later (I'm just not really into it this year), but I do expect both Simpson and Proctor to go in round 1.

I think Proctor goes 15-20 in round 1. I am not sure when or if Simpson goes??? Some of the talking heads are saying the Cardinals move up late in the first round and nab him. Good luck to all the young men from Bama that get drafted in this years draft and to the ones who sign as free agents

Their GM Monti Ossenfort (former QB) really likes Simpson.

Meant to add this to the first post, but I'll be a bit surprised if Bernard slips past round 2.

I'll be damned if I didn't have a conversation like this about two hours ago; clerk at the 7-11.

10 years ago we'd read reports on a player that were polar opposites. To a degree we could also discern what was agent driven, team driven, or just fan driven stories.

So many people commenting on the draft makes that impossible without spending a lot of time researching the messengers. I know the CFB media world will cover two things:

B1G vs SEC numbers in the 1st round.
How many draft picks for IU.

Bama was down to 7 guys drafted last year. Do you all think we’ll hit that number this year?

I believe Ty will go in 1st mainly so the team that drafts him will get that 5th year option. That can be valuable if a QB pans out.

I think Proctor, Simpson, Bernard, Jackson, Keenan, Overton, and Jefferson get taken. Maybe Lawson and Brailsford.
