I see a few of the SEC schools are streaming their spring games: UGA is one.

Jimmy Stein suggested it was part of the agreement with ESPN. I don't know.

Someone, somewhere, made the decision not to have video today.

What's your gut tell you?

Stein is the one with the theory it's controlled by ESPN. I don't know. I've seen A&M and UGA are streaming theirs. They, as well as Bama, have the ability to handle the broadcast "in house."

It may be an "in house" decision with UA ... maybe they don't want video of the spring scrimmage out. They've been closed off a lot this spring.

I doubt my viewing schedule would change if it were. The UF v UGA game was good until UF fell apart B8. I was always going to listen the Bama v AU in softball. The Masters has been on all day. Damn weather dealt for TX v A&M right now...although VT v BC is 4-4, B4 right now.

Russell had a nice day today. 4 TD/1 Int. Made several wow moments. People are saying Russell will be #1 QB going forward, but I don't think so. Mack was dinged up. I believe this will remain a competition throughout the summer and we'll see who shines the most in fall camp.

The run game looks little better today, but we still got some work to do.

Run game continues to struggle with play calling more than anything. Also I noticed with Russell we had some isolation read options that he won't pull here.

So I think we're making improvements in areas but one issue I see is still slow draw plays being utilized too much IMO, hit the holes and run hard that's how you get big runs in college right now

I didn’t like that DeBoer mentioned evaluating it thru the summer. I hear ankle, hopefully just a bad sprain.

Went to the game

17 is our RB with 4 behind him 17 has the explosion and agility to be really good. He picked the blitz on one down and he stuck the defender right in the mouth.

0 is an RB out of the backfield for the most part and 6 doesn't have the ability to be a SEC RB.

10 and 12 can be our starter. Both have the arms to throw any patterns. 12 has the jets to bust long gains once he leaves the pocket. Both have to grow that confidence that they are the man as well as eliminate bad plays.

Really hard to tell what we have on defense or offense until we play teams. I am not discouraged. I am pleased to see 17 run the ball. He is no dancer. Quick and powerful.

David Smith crew handled the officiating today.
