I've read the book twice.

Originally, it was given to me when I was in the hospital in high school: by an attending nurse of all people. Two second "read" came as part of a Literature class in college studing the horror genre (along with Dracula by Bram Stoke, Frankenstein, It, and one other I can't recall.)

I've watched the movie once. It'll remain that way. It was funny that the film won one of the Golden Raspberry Awards for worst screen couple (Cruise and Pitt.) HORRIBLE casting for the film sans, maybe, Kirsten Dunst.

AMC has done a good job with their adaptations as of late so I hold out hope this eight part mini-series will be worth the watch.

I bought a year of AMC+ last Novemeber when they had a great sale on it. And I rarely ever actually use it. I can't get into Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul, and The Walking Dead is past stale in all versions right now. I keep wanting to watch NOS4A2, Dark Winds, Moonhaven, and some other things but just wind up never watching them.
