🏈 Am I the only one impressed by Dan Mullen?

From what I've seen of him he really seems like a class guy. Mississippi State did good to land him in my opinion.

Well, I thought Sylvester Croom was a goodguy who was a much better coach than his record at State indicated. Dan Mullen is a good guy, but I dont think his overall numbers there will be much different. That footbsll program is not a winner, and there is not enough support for Mississippi State to make it into one.

I agree 110% with this. Sylvester Croom was a great guy, really classy, and a good coach, but that place is a death trap and is where you go to have your record look like you can't coach.

I think Croom is a great guy and a good coach, but Mullen will do a better job at MSU from top to bottom. You can see a big difference in the way they practice and play.

He's just what MSU needed. I think he's one of the best young coaches out there.

if you are impressed because he is the only one that has stated he is willing to adjust schedule, then remember, he wants something in return. I don't blame him, but it's not like he is doing it because it's in Bama's best interest...

I tend to agree, but I'm basing that only on comments he made toward the University that he loved (or at least the one I thought he loved). He had his opinions after the hiring of Shula and made some other snide comments toward players. I didn't agree with those statements nor find them necessary. Even though he came out looking bitter, I'm more willing to forgive him for his words than say a Tubberville or Miles.

Then again, I guess it's easier to forgive and forget when the person is no longer relevant.

Hats off to Mullen for offering to help. Not one other coach did.
