Tenpenny elected to attend UNLV back on May 4, with an announcement via his Instagram account.

The former Crimson Tide tailback rushed for 136 yards on 26 carries in 12 games last season as a sophomore at UA. Prior to that, Tenpenny rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown on 22 attempts in 2013 as a true freshman.

Tenpenny arrived at Alabama as a four-star recruit and the No. 7-ranked running back prospect out of North Little Rock, Ark., as a part of the 2013 recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.

I hate to hear it, but I don't necessarily think he had beaten D.Henry out that first year as much as the staff was feeling Tenpenny out and giving him plenty of opportunity to develop. Sort of feeding him rope to see if he would run with it or hang himself.

They knew Henry's potential. That's why Henry's still here and Altee has struck out again.
