Thanks. That's probably the way that was supposed to be read. Right above it, it does say what JM told Vinnie. My first look at it said that perhaps JM was rethinking his draft plans.

He'll have a lot of young talent around him next season so there's reason to think he'd consider coming back for another year.

I have my doubts. Heck, to be honest, I don't see much reason to believe JM would put any stock in a draft analysis/projection even if it projected him to be a 3rd day pick.

I was in the concession line when this happened, we were watching from the TV in the concession stand, needless to say, all the Alabama fans were hollering loudly. Texas A&M fans were majorly bummed.

Texas A&M are some of the nicest fans you'll ever meet and they are great hosts.

I've met a few and would agree with you. In fact, we were hiking on the Appalachian Trail a few years ago and met Coach Stalling's neighbor. He and his wife, both Aggie alums, were hiking as well. He was a big Bama fan as well because of Coach Stallings. Very nice people.
