@Birdman37, the guy from finebaum should read this article:

Alabama's offensive line has two things: size and experience.

Arie Kouandjio, a senior, Ryan Kelly, a junior, Leon Brown, a senior, and Austin Shepard, a senior, all bring experience to the offensive line. None of them are shorter than 6 feet 5 inches. Kelly is the smallest, weighing in at 296 pounds.

"Dominating is one of our goals especially on the line of scrimmage, but that's it," Kouandjio said. "Really I just focus on the next play and not really even thinking about like the product of what I've done or I guess domination out there in the past. I'm just focused on dominating on the next play so I don't really get to experience the point where I feel like I'm dominating out there. I'm focused more on the act rather than what I've already done."

Of the 82 plays the offense ran on Saturday, 49 were rushing. Only two plays had a negative gain.

"I do think our offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage, our running backs ran the ball well, we executed very well on most of our plays from an efficiency standpoint and when we didn't, we usually didn't quite block them right," Alabama coach Nick Saban said. "It was really important in the game."

Alabama's rushing game put up 288 yards, more than half of the Crimson Tide's total offensive production of 538 yards. Two running backs put up more than 100 yards each in the win. The last time that happened was on Oct. 19, 2013, when Alabama hosted Arkansas. In that game, Derrick Henry and Kenyon Drake notched 111 and 104 yards, respectively.

In part, this came from good communication on the line, but Kouandjio said there's always something to improve on.

"There's always going to be new things that you haven't practiced for or seen in a while," Kouandjio said. "So there's always room for improvement, and that's what practice is about, and that's what we're going to do."

Things are different this year for the offensive line. It has an offensive coordinator in Lane Kiffin who is on the sideline.

"It was actually different a little bit but not really," Kouandjio said. "I mean, I just noticed it and it was interesting, but aside from that it doesn't really make a difference where he is."

It also has a quarterback in Blake Sims who can scramble instead of staying in the pocket. Kouandjio said it's useful but he trusts in who Sims is more than his abilities.

"A lot of people around here have a lot of weapons, and I don't really focus on any one of their weapons," Kouandjio said.
