🏈 Alabama's latest picture - 16

It's cool, but I think they should have waited for the 16th ring to be produced and included it.

The 16 with only 15 rings on display is a bit odd. We get enough crap for fuzzy math. That said, I'd probably have tried to hide the '41 ring a bit harder.

And, for symbolic reasons, I'd have placed the '25, '61, '09 rings at the bottom from left to right as the base seasons to a legacy. '25 is the birth of a power and cornerstone year; '61 and '09 represent the re-emergence of a dynasties and continuance of excelence.

My first thought when I saw this, Coach Mal Moore had a majority of those. Too bad he wasn't around to see/get this ring too.

Agreed. This guy was criticized as a coach and AD, but look at his legacy in both respects. As convincing as it is to call Saban the most successful coach of the modern era (and many good articles have come out on that in the last month) we sometimes forget who was responsible for bringing him to the Capstone!

And, BTW, I agree - what was the point of making the '16' before the 16th ring was out? Kind of a fail.

she's not living anymore. she died a few years ago while he was still with us.
But we still (I mean U of A) could give it to his daughter. I saw her at one of the game talking about his book and his love of the U of A. It was on Tide and Tiger Today Show. I just can't remember which game.

Marketing? Bama is in the middle of the busiest time of the year in recruiting ... and then there's this ...

that because they don't have the 16th ring designed/made yet.

IF you guys recall, the players didn't receive their SECCG rings from the game in 2014 until June of this past year. Six months. The softball team waited about five months to get theirs.

What good would a promotional graphic like this serve in the middle of June, or later?
