🏈 Alabamas advantage in recruiting...........

I was discussing this recently with a few people......some of which are LSU and Auburn fans. I commented that the stability of the Alabama program ( that being Saban not interviewing for other jobs, or legit rumors of leaving ) has to have significant influence on a potential recruits decision making when choosing a school. They know they are entering a stable program when choosing Alabama. We have seen so many schools in recent years go through several coaches and few have remained long enough to become established. Do yall think this plays alot into the decision making ?

Stability is a big factor. So, too is the success of the program. A big selling point to me, though, were i a highly rated recruit, is the number of our players selected in the early rounds of the NFL draft

Coach Saban, when asked about how he could wear four Championship rings, commented that he didn't wear them around but did usually like to put them on the coffee table during recruiting visits.

priceless.

Stability has its rewards in recruiting, but measurable success plainly laid out in front of them is not to be underrated, imo.

A lot of guys want to 'play'. CNS wants guys that want to WIN, and he shows them how to do it sustainably.

Playing time, success, and the NFL are the biggest factors in my opinion. I think family and education get shuffled to the back by the recruit but I feel that CNS and Miss Terry puts these 2 up to the front to show these kids that they are important and needed!

Playing at Alabama has become THE place among ambition talented football players who are willing to work for what they want out of life.

The combination of Nick Saban and the name Alabama has created a perfect storm!

I see some advantages Alabama has.

However, you can't just put it as simply as stability. Hell, how long has Mack Brown been at Texas?

There's an adage about it taking eight pieces to make a pie.

Stability, development, facilities, fan support...we could make more than eight if we chose to do so.

A HUGE key in our recent success is the type of kids we've brought in. In simpler terms, kids who are willing to follow the course laid out in front of them.

I've got a comparison between two schools, both with stable coaching staffs, both with highly rated recruiting classes, yet completely different results coming soon. I have put all the info together just haven't put in on here yet.

Give me a little...it's eye opening.

When you are considering where Alabama ranks in the recruiting services try to always remember that it doesn't really matter to Saban where the kid is ranked. With Nick Saban it is more about the character of the young man and the player's willingness to be part of a team instead of an individual "Star"

Saban has backed away from many so called, "Studs" because they were selfish and just didn't have the "Right Stuff" and wouldn't fit in with the process.
